Reducing Business Interruption

Reducing the financial impact and inconvenience caused by a disaster are key roles of our service. Concept can recover essential information from both computer equipment and documentation, quickly, to enable businesses to operate with the minimum of disruption.

Speed of response is critical in minimising the impact of an incident. Involving Concept at the earliest opportunity will allow us to instigate mitigation procedures designed to stabilise affected items and prevent further deterioration.

Document Restoration

Fire damage is restorable in the vast majority of cases. Tightly packed paper will not easily burn as air / oxygen supply is limited, and fire and smoke damage - is usually restricted to the outer edges, leaving the information inside the book or file intact.

Water damage is always almost restorable, although wet documentation should usually be placed in freezer storage as soon as practically possible to prevent paper deterioration and mould growth.

Electrical Restoration

Concept can restore approximately 95% of water and smoke contaminated electrical equipment, providing it has not suffered thermal damage, and has not been switched on whilst wet.

Prior to treatment, smoke or water affected electrical equipment is placed in a humidity controlled storage facility to remove residual water and "freeze" the corrosion process by preventing moisture from being available to facilitate the oxidation cycle.
